'The Last Ship' season 3 episode 10 spoilers: White House turns on the crew of the USS Nathan James

 TNT

"The Last Ship" season 3 has seen the USS Nathan James handle international concerns but the official synopsis of episode 10, titled "Scuttle," will see Chandler (Eric Dane) and the rest of the crew get blacklisted by the White House and they'll need to decide whether they'll push to do the right thing even if it gets them in jail.

As shown in the trailer, Kara Green (Marissa Neitling) discovers that the reason the White House has turned against the USS Nathan James is due to the presence of a mole and she is very close in flushing him out. However, she may be a little too late as the crew of the ship are already shown being arrested by a Naval officer.

Ecumenical News points out Chandler will figure out something wrong is happening back in St. Louis. However, the acting president and President Jeffrey Michener's (Mark Moses) have been attempting to do their best to keep things functional, completely unaware of the spy working in their ranks.

The report also points out that Allison Shaw (Elisabeth Röhm) has been keeping the regional leaders from agreeing to a centralized United States and with her position she could have Kara killed in an instant.

"The Last Ship" season 3 has notably shifted its focus now that Mike Slattery (Adam Baldwin) and his companions have been rescued from the pirates in Asia. From this point on the story has begun shifting its attention to the events in St. Louis and the political turmoil back in U.S. shores. This may prompt the USS Nathan James to head back.

Executive Producer Hank Steinberg did tease this back in June during an interview with Buddy TV.

"In Season 3, the storyline is split between the action in Asia and the Presidency in the new White House in St. Louis," he stated at the time. |The drama is between geo-political issues of how to hold the country together and the question of how many resources should we give to saving the rest of the world when America is stretched very thin and trying to repair itself."

"The Last Ship" season 3 episode 10 airs on Aug. 21.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
