The sixth season of "The Good Wife" is all about the "education of Alicia Florrick," according to show's creators Robert and Michelle King.
The TV series just concluded its fifth season. The 22 glorious episodes of the series centered on the formation of Florrick, Agos & Associates, but the next season will be about Alicia learning the dynamics of legal work and adapting in her new work environment.
"We start next year exactly where we left off this year and Alicia's reaction is, 'Are you f---ing insane? That's the last thing I want to do,'" co-creator Robert King told E! News after the season 5 finale last Sunday.
"Things tend to change on the show," King quickly added.
On the other hand, Michelle said, "I think we've seen her become increasingly pragmatic every single year and this one she has a firm she needs to protect, a possible move into politics - I think she's just fascinating."
The two creators of the TV series said that the next season will "play with the structure of the series a bit... We'll see some episodes that are light on court and others that are more traditional."
Some of the things that viewers should anticipate in the drama series are Kalinda will go to Florrick/Agos with Diane and Matthew Goode will be sticking around as Finn.
Moreover, more plot twists are expected to be revealed next season. Robert King hinted that the events revealed on the season 5 finale will pave the way on the bigger things that will happen on season 6. He assured fans that the show will have "more serialized storytelling. We're taking what we thought worked in Season 5 and seeing if we can make that stuff do something different in Season 6."
Season 6 will be split in half in terms of storytelling and consecutive new episodes, CBS will air the first 11 episodes then the show will go in hiatus for a few months before the next 11 episodes to be shown again. The sixth season will be back in fall.
