'The Flash' season 2 episode 15 spoilers: King Shark returns in episode 15 'Arrow' crossover

King Shark as seen in The Flash season 2 The CW

"The Flash" season 2 episode 15 will be another crossover with "Arrow" but this time without Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). The episode will also see the return of the villain King Shark who made his first appearance early in the season, being brought by Zoom from Earth-2, but was shot down by Earth-2 Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).

According to a report from Screen Rant, King Shark has since been kept in a large tank by ARGUS. When the giant predator breaks out he'll head straight for Central City and attack Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Iris (Candice Patton) and Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) before Barry aka the Flash (Grant Gustin) can fight back.

With King Shark breaking out, Diggle (David Ramsey) and his wife Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) will head over to help Team Flash take down the monster. This will be the first time Diggle will appear in "The Flash" without being accompanied by Oliver Queen and this will be the first time Lyla will appear in Central City.

The report also points out that Diggle may be receiving his helmet upgrade in this episode. This upgrade was teased by Ramsay during an interview with IGN and now that he'll be at STAR Labs it is very likely it will happen in this episode. After all, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has been responsible for many of the costume upgrades for both Team Arrow and Team Flash.

It is also important to note that the official promo trailer for the episode, aptly titled "King Shark," takes on a humorous parody of Steven Spielberg's hit movie "Jaws." The music cue is directly taken from the film and so is the logo design that "The Flash" uses for this episode, an obvious homage to the movie that made sharks scary in pop culture.

"The Flash" season 2 episode 15 will air this Feb. 23.
