Tenth Avenue North teams up with Billy Graham ministry in new music vid

|PIC1|Tenth Avenue North, recently named "New Artist of the Year" at the 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards, has collaborated with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in the new music video for their hit song "By Your Side".

The video is being filmed to help promote and raise awareness of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team of crisis-trained chaplains.

The Rapid Response Team has brought comfort to victims of numerous natural disasters and manmade tragedies, including Hurricane Katrina and the Virginia Tech shootings.

Mike Donehey, lead vocalist for Tenth Avenue North, shares, "We're extremely excited to be working with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and their Rapid Response Team. In light of everything that God has done with and through them, we are humbled and grateful to be a small part of their ministry."

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, a ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association that was developed in the wake of 9/11, is a nationwide network of chaplains who are specially trained to appropriately offer emotional and spiritual care during crisis situations.

"The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team is a vital ministry that has brought hope to victims of some of the greatest tragedies our country has seen over the last several years," said Jack Munday, director of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team. "This programme, and the video from Tenth Avenue North, will give viewers a sense of what we deal with when we hit the ground in the aftermath of tragedies, and how the light of Christ can shine in the darkest of days."

Tenth Avenue North is made up of members Mike Donehey (lead vocalist/acoustic guitar), Jason Jamison (drummer), Jeff Owen (electric guitar/background vocals) and Scott Sanders (bass guitar). They became the best selling and most played new Christian artist of 2008, recently crossing the 100,000 sales mark, with their May 2008 Reunion Records debut, Over and Underneath.
