Tennis simulators have been absent for quite a while in the gaming scene and some fans cannot help but be concerned as the sporting genre was a popular go-to back in the early years of gaming. However, fans do not have to worry anymore as Bigben Interactive and Breakpoint's newest collaboration will be bringing users a new experience on the sorely missed sporting sim through their new tennis title "Tennis World Tour."

In line with the announcement, players and fans alike will be getting their fill of the upcoming title this May. It will see a release on all current consoles available, including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and, last but not the least, the PC platform.

Pierre Andre, designer of the upcoming tennis sim, said that for years now, they wanted to create a new game in this particular genre of the gaming world. However, they argue that during the previous years, technology has not advanced to a point where they see is ideal for the game. Fortunately now, advancements in the field of game realism has made it possible to create something that adheres closely to their plans of making an ultra-realistic tennis simulator.

According to developers, "Tennis World Tour" will continue the legacy of its predecessor "Top Spin 4," which was released in 2011.

Elsewhere, Bigben Interactive's director of video games, Benoît Clerc, shared that this upcoming sim title will mean much more to adoring fans of the franchise as the new installment will be jam packed with new content and a more visually appealing experience.

In addition to the confirmation, the duo also dropped the official cover art for the game featuring Roger Federer. However, they also noted that the game's art will be different in other countries and will feature players who represent them internationally.

"Tennis World Tour" will see an official release on May 22 and will be readily available for the following platforms: the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the PC platform.
