The first trailer for the second half of "Teen Wolf" season 5 has been released, and the footage thus far showcases that it will carry on right after the events of the first half's finale. As reported by TVLine, the episode will continue to see the escalating conflict between Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien).

While Scott's own pack continues to fight with each other instead of working together, united, the trailer also reveals that a new, slimy enemy may be introduced. This enemy might force Scott's pack to work together with Theo (Cody Christian) despite the latter's history of lies and betrayal.

The trailer also shows Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Hayden (Victoria Moroles) sharing an intimate moment together and Kira (Arden Cho) returning in action. The report also points out that there is a very quick glimpse of what appears to be Deucalion (Gideon Emery), the fan-favorite Alpha Werewolf from season 3.

At the end, the trailer reveals that season 5B will also bring back Chris Argent (J.R. Bourne).

"You're not the only one I called," Scott informs Malia right as Argent walks into the scene with his weapons at the ready.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Scott and Kira are still in love and together in season 5B. It is also hinted that Argent won't be the only one returning this time around as it is possible Allison (Crystal Reed) might be making a comeback despite her death back in season 3.

Series creator Jeff Davis also revealed in the report that Theo really wants to be changed into a true werewolf. It is reported that a new Chimera known as the Beast will be introduced and Theo will believe this creature will be his answer into transforming into a pure werewolf.

"Teen Wolf" season 5B premieres with its new Tuesday time slot this Jan. 5, 2016.
