Microsoft is not letting any opportunity to rake in more sales for the Surface Pro 3 pass them by.  The company has previously offered product deals and discounts to boost the sales of the tablet-laptop hybrid. Now, they are pushing the Surface Pro 3 once again by offering consumers in the United States a $100 price cut. Apart from the price cut, Microsoft is also throwing in a free protective sleeve for the tablet.

The Surface Pro 3 has five variants with varying storage capacities, and four of these variants are being offered at a discount. With $100 off, the Core i5 128 GB Surface Pro 3 cost $899, while the 256 GB variant now costs $1,199. The Core i7 256 GB costs $1,449, and the 512 GB variant can be bought for $1,849. The entry-level and cheapest version (Core i3 64 GB), however, retains its usual price tag of $799 although it comes with a free sleeve.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 discount runs until Feb. 7. However, the free sleeve will be given away until April 5. The tablet-laptop hybrid is available at Microsoft's online store or participating retailers. Thus, customers should grab these deals as soon as they can.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 gained popularity because of its line-up of specs and features. The device runs with Windows 8 operating system and offers a unique ability to run both tablet and desktop apps. Apple does not offer this kind of integration in its iOS and OS X operating systems.

Meanwhile, the continued deals for the device strongly suggests that Microsoft is working on the successor of the tablet – the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The upcoming tablet is speculated to be launched in the official rollout of Windows 10 this fall to gain more attention. The new Windows 10 will enable seamless integration of desktops and mobile operating systems. According to the grapevine, the Surface Pro 4 will pack the new Intel Broadwell processors paired with more than 8 GB RAM. However, Microsoft has no word yet regarding the Surface Pro 4.
