As CW's "Supernatural" returns to the small screen on Tuesday, Oct. 7, its premiere episode for season 10 entitled "Black" will follow the story of Dean (Jensen Ackles) who will go on a "demonic adventure" alongside Crowley (Mark Sheppard).
Fans can look forward to Dean becoming a newly turned supernatural demon, who will have to make a decision as to how he is going to move forward as a demon from now on. He will also choose "how dark and what kind of demon he's going to be," series executive producer Jeremy Carver said to Entertainment Weekly.
Jensen Ackles also commented on his character and said, "He is an ultra version of a womanizing party animal."
Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) has been making much effort into knowing what has been going on with his brother and into summoning the King of Hell in an attempt to save Dean. As such, season ten of "Supernatural" is expected to start out with Sam seeking to come across his brother without knowing that Crowley is becoming the villain in their story.
CW has released a promo video that shows Dean having a good time in his transformation as a demon, from drinking and getting into fights to cozying up to women and singing on a karaoke machine.
In the final episode ("Do You Believe in Miracles") of the previous season, Dean had been battling it out with the evil Metatron who, in turn, stabbed him. While Crowley ignored Sam's plea to sort things out, the King of Hell carried out a terrible resurrection instead. With the Mark of Cain, Dean opened his eyes as he felt its effects.
Aiding the Winchester brothers in battling both demons and angels, Castiel (Misha Collins) has once more been deemed as the other angels' leader after overpowering Metatron and locking him up in Heaven's dungeon. Castiel will then continue his efforts in replenishing his grace to avoid dying as a regular angel.
