'Suits' season 5B spoilers: Harvey to win Donna's heart back

Suits USA Network

Before the midseason finale, "Suits" season 5 saw Donna (Sarah Rafferty) slowly distancing herself from Harvey (Gabriel Macht). This stemmed from the fact that she realized she deserves more than just being his secretary. However, according to a report from the IBTimes, season 5B may see Harvey step up and win back her heart.

The report cites that Harvey will start letting people in instead of pushing them further out of his life. However, by letting people in and by doing everything he can to save Mike (Patrick J. Adams), who was arrested in the mid-season finale once his secret had gotten out, it is likely Harvey and Donna's relationship will get back on track.

It is explained that this would give Harvey the chance to prove to Donna that he has changed for the better, although it is not confirmed that they would indeed be getting back together as firmly as they have before.

Much of the first half of the season showcased Harvey and Louis (Rick Hoffman) bickering and fighting each other with Donna caught in the middle. It was during this time that Donna lost her interest in Harvey when she realized he cared more about his career and looked at her only as his assistant and not his equal.

During the first half of the season, most of the good beats went to Mike and Rachel (Meghan Markle) and the two were set to get married before Mike was suddenly arrested. Back in August, series creator Aaron Korsch revealed that the wedding might still continue in season 5B but not in the manner originally planned out.

While things look bleak for Mike and there are no hints as to who revealed his secret to the authorities, things may look brighter for Harvey's side of the fence. Harvey is expected to "change" and get back together with Donna and he may be the only solution to get Mike out of his current predicament, although nothing is confirmed at this point.

"Suits" season 5B will premiere this Jan. 27, 2016.
