'Suits' season 5 spoilers: First look at premiere episode 1 synopsis

Suits USA

The official synopsis for the first episode of "Suits" season 5, titled "Denial," has been posted online and it appears that nothing is going to be easy for Harvey (Gabriel Macht). According to the synopsis first posted by Carter Matt, Harvey will find some difficulty in adjusting to the changes in the office.

One of those changes involve Donna (Sarah Rafferty). During the season 4 finale, Donna decided to go separate ways from Harvey after a decade of them working together. She isn't leaving the firm per se, but she is now going to work under Louis as his secretary.

According to the synopsis, Louis already surmises that it is only a matter of time before Donna returns to Harvey. How this plays out in season 5 has yet to be seen — it may take just one episode or it might take half the season. The report from Carter Matt cites that the one thing Louis should be careful of is his own paranoia.

Executive producer Aaron Korsh explains in the report, "I think Harvey does appreciate her on certain levels. He's very good to her. It's a complicated situation. If you were to look at it like a break-up, when it happens, you go through different phases of getting through it."

The synopsis also states that an "up and coming" partner will confront Jessica (Gina Torres) about the way Harvey tends to handle things and this may stir even more trouble, following the fraud case that shook Donna and Harvey's relationship in season 4.

Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) ended season 4 with the latter accepting the former's marriage proposal. The synopsis for "Denial" states that the two are excited to tell everyone the big news but are not yet sure how or when. At least there's one couple still happy this far into the show's history.

"Suits" season 5 premieres this June 24.
