'Steven Universe' season 3 release date, spoilers: Next five episodes hit screens between July 18 and 22

Steven's Summer of Adventure, the next Steven Bomb starting July 18 Twitter via Cartoon Network

7The last anyone has seen of "Steven Universe" season 3 was episode 5, "Hit the Diamond," which aired back on June 2. However, the official "Steven Universe" Twitter account has unveiled that the next Steven Bomb will occur this coming July 18 and will run until July 22.

A Steven Bomb is a term used by fans when Cartoon Network and the studios behind the show release several episodes for several days in a week before the show goes on hiatus for weeks or even months. At times a hiatus can take a very long while and a Steven Bomb is designed to satiate the wait by releasing episodes one after the other.

However, fans are expecting that Cartoon Network will keep episodes coming by releasing a second Steven Bomb by the middle or end of August. After this there would be no telling when the studios would continue releasing more episodes.

It is noted that season 1 had a total of 52 episodes but season 2 only had 26. There are no official confirmations regarding how many episodes season 3 will have but with the upcoming Steven Bomb this July 18 to 22, the total count would tally up to 11, which means there could be at least another 15 more episodes coming before spring 2017.

As stated in a report from Ecumenical News, it was previously speculated that the July 18 to July 22 Steven Bomb might only be for Canadian viewers as it only appeared as a header for the Cartoon Network Canada website. This was later disproved when Cartoon Network revealed the same schedule via Twitter.

The first two episodes for the upcoming episodes are titled "Steven Floats" and "Drop Beat Dad." Thus far only "Steven Floats" has an official synopsis: Steven gains the ability to float and he uses it everywhere he goes, only to discover that he cannot get back down on the ground.

Episode 8 is titled "Mr. Greg" while episodes 9 and 10 are titlted "Too Short to Ride" and "The New Lars." Episode 11's title has yet to be announced.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
