'Star Wars: Rogue One' spoilers: Leaked images reveal character names and plot details

Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso in "Star Wars: Rogue One." Lucasfilm

The tie-in visual guide book for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is set to launch simultaneously with the movie this December but several images have been leaked online, courtesy of Jedi Bibliothek. The leaks give crucial detail regarding several of the film's vehicles and characters.

However, as stated in a report from iO9, Disney and Lucasfilm have asked the media to take the images down as they would spoil important plot points of the movie and because the details may not be accurate due to the fact that the book and film are both in the middle of production, indicating changes may happen on a whim.

That being said, the pages give out many of the main characters' names. Felicity Jones is indeed playing a character named Jyn Erso, which was revealed in the initial teaser trailer, and Diego Luna is playing a Rebel captain named Cassian Andor. Jiang Wen plays a freelance assassin named Baze while Riz Ahmed plays a rebel soldier named Bodhi.

Alan Tudyk, famous primarily for his work on "Firefly," will be playing the CGI android named K-250. According to the leaked pages, K-250 is of an Imperial design but is now working for the Rebellion. Donnie Yen, famous for his "Ip Man" movies, plays a spiritual warrior named Chirrut. There are also two "fierce warrior" aliens named Pao and Bistan.

Ben Mendelssohn is playing Director Krennic, an Imperial officer in charge of taking down the Rebellion. The black stormtroopers are also labeled as Death Troopers and Darth Vader himself is noted to have a very big presence in the film, although the pages do not elaborate how much screen time the character will have in the film.

Mads Mikkelsen's character is not mentioned or named but given that the actor already teased he is playing the father of Jyn Erso, fans speculate that the older Erso may have been a Jedi once, an Imperial officer or a member of the Old Republic.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" opens in theaters this Dec. 16.
