It's been several months now since the last season of "Sons of Anarchy" aired on TV, but it appears that it may not be the last time that fans get to see the show.

Initially, it was reported that show creator Kurt Sutter is negotiating to create a prequel series that will give more focus on the early days of the motorcycle club.

What followed was a series of guessing games for fans if a prequel will or will not be made.

However, it appears that a prequel for SOA is indeed planned, as revealed by Charlie Hunnam himself during an interview with Men's Journal.

Hunnam, who played bad boy biker Jax Teller, said that a prequel to the hit FX series is in the works. It remains uncertain if the actor will appear in the prequel.

The 35-year old actor also revealed that Brad Pitt may also be appearing on the show and will be taking the role of John Teller, Jax's father.

The news on SOA prequel is definitely great for fans who couldn't wait to see Hunnam back on TV, but the actor was also uncertain if he will return to reprise his role.

Furthermore, Hunnam was also not sure when the prequel will be because according to him, Sutter still has other TV projects going on.

While fans are anticipating for a prequel, there's no release date for it yet.

Meanwhile, Hunnam will be starring in different movies, including the upcoming "Crimson Peak."

The "Pacific Rim" star is also currently working on his next movie "Knights of the Round Table," a film that will highlight the story of Arthur, who takes the Excalibur and fights with Vortigem, the man behind the death of his parents.

The Inquisitr also reports that Hunnam will be co-starring with David Beckham in the film, which is set to release in 2016.
