"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition" has been out for the past few weeks and has seen numerous criticisms due to bugs, glitches, and poor performance. Patch 1.2 had been released for the PS4 and PC over the week to address some of these issues and it is now available for those playing on an Xbox One.

Bethesda made the announcement over Twitter, again confirming that it is now available for all platforms, including the Xbox One.

According to the official website, this new patch offers general stability and fixes for performance issues in the game, such as an issue when using the Alt-Tab shortcut for PC users and an issue where the water flow was not properly rendered. It also fixes a problem that causes the game to crash when changing from werewolf form to human and an issue that causes the game to crash when changing the load order of mods.

Bugs related to browsing mods have been addressed, and the feature has been generally improved with the new patch update.

VG 24/7 notes that some of these problems were only present in the game when Bethesda released patch 1.1. Patch 1.2 addresses these while providing further fixes and improvements. The game has also seen a fix for the highly compressed audio that made the game's music worse than the original "Skyrim" from 2011.

According to Gamespot, the developers are still investigating some of the problems that are causing the game to crash, and they have yet to announce when a new patch fix is going to be released.

Bethesda is also busy working on "Fallout 4," and they have stated that they will be releasing patch 1.8 for the PS4. This patch will finally add mod support for "Fallout 4" on PS4. Mod support had been available for PC and Xbox One since the early half of the year.
