'Shadow of Mordor': Free 'Power of Shadow' DLC bundle, enjoy other goodies

Additional content for "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" is now on hand with a DLC ready for download today. Players are granted the chance to see the world of Mordor in the perspective of the more sinister and formidable Sauron servant, Black Hand. And the fun part is, no shell out is needed. Warner Bros. Interactive is giving out a playable antagonist character for free! The "Power of Shadow" DLC bundle includes three brand-new Epic Runes for ability and weapon upgrades.

First is the "One with Nature" Rune. With this content, players become invulnerable warriors. This cool Rune will put Uruk Captains and Ghuls's poison attacks in vain. The second free Epic Rune is the "Ascendant" Rune. This is something contributory to a grand gameplay. Players get Double Focus Time for slow-motion ranged combat. The last one is all about conquer. The "Elven Grace" Rune increases player defense as they become less susceptible to enemy attacks by stripping half of the damage they will inflict.

The game already received an update last week with the free photo mode. Players can remove the UI from the screen to capture a Mordor moment while camera settings like depth of field, tilt and field of view can be modified.

"Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" is an action role-playing video game developed by Monolith.  Being an open-world game, players can explore freely and take on side quests . It takes place in the Middle Earth universe conceived by author J.R.R Tolkien, set after the events in "The Hobbit" and long before the events in "The Lord of The Rings." The title was successfully released in the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC last month and will come to the Xbox 360 and PS3 on Nov. 18 in the U.S. and Nov. 21 in the UK.
