This year's San Diego Comic Con is already in progress and while many of the panels will be streamed online and the presentations uploaded to YouTube or other sites, there are also many exclusive presentations and collectibles that will only be available to those who attend the event.
As reported by the Independent, it is expected that AMC is going to release an early teaser trailer for "The Walking Dead" season 7 this Friday at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. While it might not reveal whom Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed in the season 6 finale it might give audiences a few hints on what's to come.
On Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a special "Star Trek" panel with Bryan Fuller, Brent Spiner, William Shatner, Michael Dorn and others. Fans speculate this may include details and spoilers about the upcoming "Star Trek" anthology series that Fuller is now serving as executive producer and show runner.
Following this is a special panel for the thirtieth anniversary of "Aliens," the second film in the long-running series. The panel will have Sigourney Weaver, James Cameron, Michael Biehn and Bill Paxton will be attending and fans can look forward to some details regarding "Alien 5," which will be helmed by Neill Blomkamp.
However, films, comic books and shows are not the only main draw to Comic Con as there are a lot of exclusive collectives. Gizmodo recently gave a detailed rundown of some of the more special collectibles that can only be found at the Comic Con stalls.
Some of these include a $40 Transformer figure from Hasbro. This collectible depicts the Decepticon Soundwave which can be transformed into a flat tablet. In the original cartoons and IDW comic books Soundwave transformed into a casette tape player.
There is also a 19-inch tall figure of Godzilla from Bluefin, based on the designs from the 1995 film "Godzilla vs Destoroyah." Mattel is offering a Joker and Panda Two-Pack based on Jared Leto's Joker and his panda-mask goons from the upcoming "Suicide Squad" film. Mezco is offering a 1:12 scale Batman figure based on his armored design from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
