The fourth-generation smartphone, equipped with a stylus, is expected to be made available on Oct. 10, and its price in the U.S. may range from $700 to $900.

It has been reported by Android Headlines that customers seeking for off-contract prices for the Galaxy Note 4 can only go to very few mobile carriers, specifically Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T, among others.

For on-contract prices, the smartphone is expected to come with a price tag of $300.

Verizon Wireless is said to be offering the upcoming device at $699 off-contract whereas GSM Nation is expected to make it available for $729.

For Sprint, the Galaxy Note 4 will cost $720 while T-Mobile is offering the device for $750. Meanwhile, AT&T's price tag for Samsung's latest smartphone is $825.

Finally, Amazon.com will make the Galaxy Note 4 available at $899.

Off-contract prices for Canada, U.K., and Europe have not been confirmed yet. Majority of their carriers have available prices only for the upcoming device's predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3, which is being offered between $940 and $985.

New users and avid fans alike of the "Galaxy Note" series can look forward to the improved specs, design and features of the Galaxy Note 4.

Samsung's upcoming smartphone will include a Quad HD Super AMOLED display that boasts 2560 x 1440 resolution. Galaxy Note 4 users are also given customization options and choose from a range of colored covers, including charcoal black, bronze gold, blossom pink, and frost white.
