'Revenge' season 4 spoilers: Next season to be emotional, production resumes

The fourth season of "Revenge" will be emotional, according to executive producer Sunil Nayar.

The cast and crew went back to work as the production for the much anticipated season 4 of the hit suspense TV series resumed on July 11. The producer of "Revenge" spilled that next season will tap to the emotions of the characters.

"I think the last three episodes [of season 3] are a really good indication of the sort of tone and the dark and the delicious and the kind of shock that we love. We really want to get into the emotion that drives every single one of these characters," show runner Sunil Nayar told Entertainment Weekly.

"And now that we've reached the place where David Clark's name is cleared and, obviously, David Clark himself is back to clear up a lot of the things that have happened to him in the last 20 years, I think we have the opportunity to change the form of it," she quickly added.

Moreover, Aiden's death will fuel Emily's wrath against Victoria, while Victoria's animosity towards Emily will escalate after Emily put her inside a mental institution. Thus, viewers can expect a cat fight between the two powerful, ferocious and vengeful women of the series.

Meanwhile, the title of the premiere episode of "Revenge" season 4 was leaked, which is dubbed "Renaissance". "Revenge" writer Sallie Patrick originally shared the photo via her Twitter account and captioned the post, "It's happening... #revenge #season4 #renaissance." The writer also tagged stars and other writers of the show, including Emily VanCamp, Gabriel Mann, Nick Wechsler, Ted Sullivan, Sunil Nayar and Gabriel Mann.

However, very few details about season 4 emerged, but the final episode of season 3 set the stage for the next season. People are anticipating the next moves of the character, the upcoming characters and the role that David Clarke will play after he comes back.

"Revenge" season 4 will return to ABC this fall.
