"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" has now been confirmed to feature cross-save support for PC and Xbox One. This means gamers playing the Xbox One version can save the game then continue their saved file on PC and vice versa. Unfortunately, Capcom did not confirm if the game would also support cross-buy.

Capcom first stated the game would support cross-save in a Japanese magazine and later gave an official statement confirming this in an interview with IGN. This would mark "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" as the first third-party game that may become an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

VG 24/7 reports that the game's cross-save would mean nothing if cross-buy wasn't also included. This is because there would be no point in buying the game twice, for PC and Xbox One, just to enjoy the cross-save feature.

Cross-buy has been supported by Microsoft before. Purchasing games like "Gears of War 4" or "Sea of Thieves" on PC would also grant the consumer a free copy on Xbox One. This would ensure that gamers would be able to enjoy their games on either system, and it is a marketing tactic to keep gamers from straying to Microsoft's competitors.

The report further states that the decision to enable "Resident Evil 7" as an Xbox Play Anywhere title might be compensation for PC and Xbox One gamers. Capcom had shown priority for Sony's PS4, stating the PS4 version would be getting an exclusive VR mode, and the PS4 also got the exclusive Kitchen demo.

Capcom is expected to showcase more of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" and its features during the PSX event this December, a month prior to its official launch in 2017. This is likely when the company will confirm whether or not cross-buy will be included with the cross-save support.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Jan. 24, 2017.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
