Republican presidential candidate and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has just poked fun at the Obama administration as well as some Democratic leaders in his new TV ad entitled "Cruz Christmas Classics."

The ad is only 90 seconds long, but it's more than enough to make its mark on viewers. It shows the presidential hopeful sitting on a sofa and reading an assortment of "Christmas stories" to his daughters and wife.

According to Charisma News, his "Christmas stories" include "A Wonderful Life: A Very Merry Economy," "Rudolph the Underemployed Reindeer," "How ObamaCare Stole Christmas," and "The Grinch Who Lost Her Emails."

"The Grinch Who Lost Her Emails" is an obvious dig at Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton. "I know just what I'll do," Cruz quotes the "Grinch" in his story. "I'll use my own server, and no one will be the wiser!"

Other stories are the "Miracle on K Street" and "Frosty the Speaker of the House," which is a jab against former Speaker of the House John Boehner. "Look! The Speaker is melting before Congress!" reads Cruz.

Then there's the"Night of the Sugar Plum Cronies" and "Auditing St. Nick," which is a reference made to former IRS official Lois Lerner. "I will audit him here or there, I will audit him anywhere!" Cruz reads.

Lastly, there's "The Senator Who Saved Christmas."

"Imagine the greatest Christmas stories... told by the Senator who once read 'Green Eggs and Ham' from the Senate Floor," the narrator voices over. "If you are not completely satisfied with this collection of Cruz Christmas Classics you probably hate Christmas and America."

Viewers lauded Cruz for having the guts and creativity to produce such an ad. "I may be a Liberal, but I have to applaud Ted Cruz for this. Hilarious from the senator," someone writes. Another adds: "This is how you advertise politics!"
