Itwas previously reported last Monday that Konami's "Silent Hills" has been canceled and that the game's playable demo, "P.T." or "Playable Teaser," would be removed from the PlayStation Network. New reports state that several PlayStation 4 units with the demo installed are being auctioned off on eBay for no less than £1,000.

The demo has been removed from PSN so the only way to play it is to get hold of a unit with the demo still installed. Just like how several iPhone units were sold at incredibly high prices when "Flappy Bird" was taken down the iOS AppStore, the "Silent Hills" demo is now prompting several PS4 owners from the UK to sell their units at high prices.
One of the first notable offers comes from eBay user will90075, who has a 27-star ranking on the auction site. The PS4 is being sold for £1,000, has been used for six months, and comes with the "P.T." demo as well as several other titles installed such as "GTA V," "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag" and "Drive Club."
The second reported seller is eBay user geb0907 and the price tag for this PS4 unit is also at £1,000. It comes with a single PS4 controller and the "P.T." demo installed but nothing else is included in the package. For obvious reasons the first offer from will90075 is the better offer since it comes with additional AAA titles included.
"Silent Hills" was meant to be a collaboration between Konami video game designer Hideo Kojima, popular for creating the "Metal Gear Solid" franchise, and Hollywood director Guillermo del Toro, known for directing the two "Hellboy" films, "Pan's Labyrinth," and "Pacific Rim." Actor Norman Reedus from "The Walking Dead" was going to portray the lead character via motion capture and voice over work.
The title was scrapped when Konami and Kojima parted ways, with Kojima sticking around only until the completion of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain."
