The synopsis of the ninth episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 5 is out and it seems that Emily is still suspecting Ali and her connection with Noel.

According to the official ABC Family synopsis of next week's episode, "Hanna continues down her boozy path, with the help of Caleb, and her friends can no longer stand by and watch Hanna self-destruct. After her last encounter with Hanna, Aria starts to take note of Zach and wonders if Hanna – while drunk – was telling her the truth."

Hanna's drinking will get slightly out of hand, which will make her say a lot of things and Aria will be doubtful whether Hanna was telling the truth or whether it was simply a slip of the tongue. Meanwhile, Emily aims to find out more about Alison and her connection to Noel. Emily will find a link between the two persons, while Spencer makes a surprising discovery at the eye doctor.

A week after that, the episode entitled "A Dark Ali" will air on August 12. The ABC Family also released photos and description for promotional purposes. In the said episode, Ali was pressured to identify the man who was allegedly responsible for her kidnapping.

However, the "Liars" do not know that it could mean that they will be sending an innocent man to prison and will possibly walk right to "A" trap. Emily will try to convince Ali not to play into "A's" hand, and Spencer comes up with a plan B in case Ali decides to make the wrong decision.

Hanna, on the other hand, was tired of all the Ali drama and tried to live a normal teenage life. Hanna will have to deal with her own problems like heart trouble as she was caught in between two boys – Caleb and Travis. Actor Tyler Blackburn, who plays Caleb, said that there will be a lot of interaction between Hanna and Caleb. The actor neither confirmed nor denied whether he and Hanna will get back together.
