'Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire' vs original version: New Pokemons, gameplay, items, Mega Evolutions and more

A new video was spotted that compares the upcoming "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" to its original version, and shows the differences between the two versions.

The video was posted by YouTube user yousheets, but the user reportedly pulled it from the "Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire's" official Japanese website. Nonetheless, fans can expect a big change on the new version of the classic Pokémon game.

Below are some of the differences between the two versions:

1. New gameplay

The "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" will overhaul its gameplay. According to reports, the graphics of the game are greatly improved. Thus, it will give a different feel to players even if they have already played the original version of the game.

2. New Pokémons

It is expected that new Pokémons will be included in the new version of the game. Three new Pokémons are reported to join the pack – Shaymin, Keldeo and Victini. They can be obtained through special campaign.

3. Mega Evolutions

One of the distinctive features of "Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" is the mega evolutions of some of the Pokémons.

4. New items

New items will also be available to players such as Pokémon Tretta Power Strength Set, the Treat Speed Strength Set, the Pokémon Vegetable Snack Salad and the Pokémon Sprinkles Mini Pack. However, these items can be obtained through special codes.

5. PokéNav Plus

According to reports, the revamped Pokémon games will feature the PokéNav Plus, which will be quite useful for players in obtaining information about their adventure. The new feature will come with four major functions – DexNav, AreaNav, BuzzNav and PlayNav.

"Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" are set to hit Nintendo 3DS consoles in North America and Japan on Nov. 21, while the games will arrive in Europe on Nov. 28. They can be bought separately for $39.99 or in a Dual Pack set for $79.98 in Best Buy and Amazon.
