"Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" will be released on Nov. 21, and pre-orders in Japan has started.  .

Japanese fans lined up to place their pre-orders for "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire." According to reports, 239,000 pre-orders were placed. This is a little low compared to the pre-orders of "Pokemon X and Y," which were 260,000 units.

Meanwhile, game developer Game Freak released details of its first ever demo of the new "gem" versions of the Pokemon games. Gamers are now able to download the game and play it any time.

According to the details published by Serebii.net, the demo versions will be set in the city of Mossdeep where gamers can choose a starter Pokemon among Grovyle, Combusken, and Marshtomp. Players will then embark on a quest to look for other trainers, and they will eventually encounter Team Aqua and Team Magma in a cave near the starting point.

Players will also meet Pokemon-like Loudred, Nosepass, Linoone, and Slakoth. The demo ends with the gamer being able to see a Mega Evolution of a Pokemon, which has never been seen before.

The report added that special offers and treats are offered to players daily, which will encourage the players to tinker with the game like attending a daily appointment. However, more details are set to be divulged to the public by the developer later as the release date approaches.

One of the unique features of "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" shown in the demo is, it allows players to transfer whatever is earned in the demo version (items, Mega Evolution Pokemon, achievements, etc.) to the main game version once it is released. Players will use the Pokemon Link feature in the game to transfer the items.

The demo of "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" will not be available at the Nintendo eShop. A unique code will be distributed to the players on gaming events in various parts of the world that should be entered on the Nintendo eShop to be able to download the demo. The code can be only used once and will be active for a short time.
