A "Pokémon GO" fan was just recently given a suspended sentence after playing at a local church in Russia. Now, the game is once again at the center of discussion after a man allegedly used the game to sexually harass a child. Here is everything about it in a nutshell.

According to WECT, a Wilmington man is now facing charges after he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy. The suspect named Jason Eric Northway reportedly met the victim through "Pokémon GO." The case is currently being investigated by the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office.

The 50-year-old Northway was arrested Wednesday and was charged with a statutory sex offense. The charge covers the fact that the victim falls either 15 or under and indecent liberties with a child. The suspect was also booked by the sheriff's office with a $100,000 bond. It is worth noting that the offenses happened sometime in October last year, as stated in the arrest warrant.

WWAY TV3 notes that there could possibly be more victims out there. Hence, officials urge anyone with information to contact them right away. The sheriff's office can be reached at 910-798-4200.

In related "Pokémon GO" news, there has been so much hype building within the community. This is because rumors of the Legendary creatures coming to the game have surfaced. It is believed that these pocket creatures will be introduced to the game this summer.

Although everything else remains a mystery, Niantic has already revealed in the past that they plan to release the Legendary Pokémon via an event. The studio even teased about the possibility of new features coming to the game. Many suggest that the company is referring to the highly anticipated player-versus-player (PvP) gym battles and trading system. But until Niantic officially announces these features, players might as well take the rumors with a grain of salt.
