Ever since the beginning, the goal of "Pokémon" has always been to catch them all and be the very best. This has been made apparent by the franchise's slogan "Gotta Catch 'em All!" With the creation of "Pokémon Go", this has become even more important to Pokémon fans all across the globe.

Here are some tips and tricks for those who want to improve their Pokémon-catching skills.

Populated areas tend to have more Pokémon. According to iMore, parks and areas near PokeStops are ideal for a day of Pokémon hunting. If the park is near water, it is an even better spot. Different Pokémon types live in different areas, with water types preferring places near bodies of water. The recently added weather system was included to the Pokémon diversity — with other Pokémon preferring sunny days over rainy, snowy days and vice versa.

Players looking for even more Pokémon can set down incense and wait for Pokémon to come to them.

Another good tip for seasoned and new players alike is to visit PokeStops whenever they are available. PokeStops are usually marked on the map, making them easy to find. Once players are at a PokeStop they will usually receive bonuses such as items and other prizes.

Trainers who are trying to hatch their Pokémon eggs can do so by moving their phone around. There is no need to go anywhere far, as long as the trainer is moving on the Pokémon map, the app will count the distance traveled. Some players try to beat this by turning the Pokémon Go app on in their cars while driving. However, if a player is moving faster than 10 kilometers per hour, the app will sense that the device is trying to cheat and the distance will not be counted — resuting to a delayed hatching of the egg.
