PS Plus August 2015 game predictions: Galak-Z, Resident Evil HD, Watch Dogs, Limbo, Freedom of Wars?

Playstation Plus

PlayStation Plus has become one of Sony Entertainment's most lucrative projects as it has brought in more gamers than before since membership guarantees free games every month. The list of July's free games has recently been posted by Sony and now that August is coming close, predictions for the games that will be offered are up.

According to a report from BIDNESSETC, one of the titles most likely going to be offered for August is "Galak-Z," described as an animated arcade shooter developed by 17-Bit Games. The game is set to be released on Aug. 4 and may be included in the list of free items for PlayStation Plus members in order to give the game additional exposure and recognition.

The Gospel Herald also reports that there is a chance "Resident Evil HD" will be offered for both the PS3 and PS4. The site also says that PS3 gamers might see "Watch Dogs" being offered, while PS4 owners may get "Limbo." PS Vita players might be able to download "Freedom Wars."

The report also cites suggestions from user terminatorx0606. The frequent forum user has made suggestions such as "Metal Slug 3" and the recently remastered version of the point-and-click adventure game "Grim Fandango." Both games are available for the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita.

Until Sony announces the official list of games for PlayStation Plus for August, however, these remain as speculations and guesses on what members might get for free. Sony has not given any comment if these speculations are accurate or not.

The month of July saw the games "Styx: Master of Shadows," "Rocket League," "Geometry Wars 3," and "Rain."

PlayStation Plus is a special paid subscription service that offers free games every month as well as numerous game patches, updates automatically downloaded to the console, demos, and store discounts. The subscription costs $17.99 for three months or $49.99 for a year.
