Pink has admitted that she didn't want kids initially, saying that she was "terrified" and that her troubled past had a lot to do with her fears. However, she now confesses that her child is "the coolest thing that has ever happened to me."

The popular singer pointed to her rocky relationship with her own mother for her fears about parenthood.

In the past Pink has been vocal about her difficult upbringing and the troubles she faced growing up. Recently she even went as far as saying that prior to giving birth to her two-year-old daughter Willow, whom she had with husband Carey Hart, she never really wanted children in her life.

However, seeing her child for the first time completely changed her stance on being a mother and has turned her outlook on the future on its head. She now admits that even if her career completely collapsed and she was left with nothing, she wouldn't even care now as long as she had her daughter Willow with her.

Speaking to GQ Australia, Pink said: "She's the coolest thing that has ever happened to me.

"I didn't want kids. I was terrified. The relationship I had with my mother was really rocky at times. Willow's made me realize I'd be ok with letting all this go."

She added, "If nothing else happened to me as "Pink", I would feel really proud of what I've done."

Pink is currently embarking on her "The Truth About Love" world tour.
