Phil Robertson says the whole world is under the control of Satan

With all the bad things happening in the world today, "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson said that it's clear Satan has gotten his grips on people.

"The whole world is under the control of the evil one," Robertson told CRTV as he discussed the horrific Las Vegas shooting and the sexual abuse allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and several other actors. "Satan has taken them captive to do his will...evil doesn't need a motive. All it needs is Satan, working in people, prompting people."

But as horrible as the world might seem, Robertson said there is hope in God and even the worst sinners can transform with His love and mercy. "But you know what, we don't need to forget something...Weinstein can be forgiven. Don't forget that," said Robertson. "I've had some pretty raunchy sins in my first 28 years on the earth. Grace is far better than law. Grace says all your past sins can be removed and never counted against you again."

Robertson knows he is not the best person to spread God's word, since he is "a little rough around the edges." But he pointed out that many other people from the Bible "looked rougher than I do." What Robertson has is popularity thanks to his family's reality show, "Duck Dynasty." Because of it, Robertson is using his platform to proclaim that Jesus rose from the dead to cleanse people's sins.

"Can you imagine what you would hear if you gave me an hour?" he said.

Robertson's strong views, especially concerning the LGBT agenda, have often irked secular society. He said back in 2013 that gays and lesbians "won't inherit the kingdom of God."

During the recent Liberty University Convocation, Robertson once again reiterated his stance. "God made male and female," Robertson stressed, according to PR Web. "When I am looking at males, hair comes out of their faces. Females, they don't have beards. Males, they have beards. God doesn't make mistakes. This is what a man is supposed to look like."
