Atlus has big plans for this year, and in a report from Famitsu (via Gematsu), CEO Naoto Hiraoka stated that their plans will begin with the launch of "Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir" and "Persona 5" and continue with the release of several unannounced games throughout the rest of 2016.

"In the summer, we'll launch the long-awaited 'Persona 5,'" Hiraoka explained. "Of course, in addition to that we have several unannounced titles. As you can also see from the close Japanese and foreign release dates for 'Dragon's Crown' in 2013 due to its online elements, the barrier between the domestic and overseas market is dying."

Hiraoka continued stating his excitement, claiming that this year will see several Atlus games all come together. It is hinted that this not only pertains to the release of games in long-running franchises such as "Persona 5" but also the possible revival of some of Atlus's forgotten series.

"Persona 5" has not just begun the Atlus revival with its own scheduled release but has also made its mark in other Atlus titles. Most recently, a report from IGN pointed out that a "Persona 5" costume has been discovered within the game data for the recently released "Persona 4: Dancing All Night" game.

The costume was only recently uploaded into the game before it was discovered and shared by a user on Twitter. The costume appears to be the same as that of Caroline from "Persona 5" and may be an alternate costume for Nanako Dojima.

It is further speculated that this may have originally been planned for "Persona 4: Dancing All Night" but may have been canceled right before the game's release or it may appear in future DLC. Either way, it does appear like Atlus is preparing their big year by putting "Persona 5" front and center.

"Persona 5" currently has a summer release but no specific launch date has yet been announced.
