Many anxious fans are waiting for news about the Altus role-playing game "Persona 5." But to this date, game directors Katsura Hashino and Shigenori Soejima haven't confirmed a release date yet, although they've released the trailer and several details about the game.

In a recent interview with Gematsu, Hashino and Soejima asked gaming fans to be a little more patient.

"We're working really hard to make this new one such a game that can reach out to people and grab them. I know it's been a long wait, but I hope you'll give us just a little more time. Hopefully once it's out, it'll all be worth it in the end," Hashino said.

Fans of the franchise can expect a significant change in the theme and art style in "Persona 5." While Soejima shared that many people have complimented the new look, he admitted that it wasn't intentional on their part.

Hashino said that they are trying to make things more realistic as they go along. As for the theme, "it's the notion people have that there are things that they want to do with their lives but can't actually realize for one reason or another."

Gematsu asked about the response to the newly released trailer for the much anticipated RPG game and if the footage shows a lot about the game. Hashino explained that they release trailers because they want to reassure fans that the game's development is moving forward and they want "people to see how excited we are to be working on it by showing off all of these different parts of it."

Also, Soejima assured fans that there are more allied characters in the game and that they "won't be running out of new stuff to reveal anytime soon."

"Persona 5" is rumored to be coming out on October. The announcement is speculated to happen at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 to take place in June.
