To the delight of "Orphan Black" fans, the first teaser trailer of the hit sci-fi series is out.

The new teaser trailer may mean a lot of things when it comes to the storyline of season 3. The 20-second long trailer shows no characters but simply cells dividing ad infinitum. The cells multiply to the tune of Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me," and eventually transform into a double helix.  The "Orphan Black" logo ends the trailer.

This could mean a lot of things. The video is an obvious reference to the clones all containing patented DNA strands. Moreover, this pertains to the fight that Cosima and Delphine want to bring forward to the Dyad Institute.

The cells dividing could also pertain to the clone projects that will be the front and center of the new season. The third season of the hit BBC America TV series will now feature two clone projects, Leda and Castor, which may clash.

Moreover, dividing cells may hint on new characters set to join the cast. One of the cliffhangers in the previous season is Mark being part of clone project Castor, which consists of male clones for military purposes. There are talks that other clones of Mark or his brothers will be introduced next season.

Aside from the amazing Tatiana Maslany as Sarah, Cosima, Alison, and Helena, Ari Millen will be back as Prolethean Mark who is the source of all the male clones. Millen is reported to play a crucial role in season 3. It is still unknown whether fans will be able to see Rachel next season since some rumors say that she exited the series.

Meanwhile, the production of "Orphan Black" season 3 is currently underway and is expected to continue until March 2015. The series will be released right around that time in BBC America.
