'The Originals' season 3 spoilers: Klaus in a lot of trouble in new episodes

The Originals CW

Season 2 of "The Originals" saw Klaus do everything he could to save his daughter Hope. This included trapping Hayley, putting a new curse on the Crescent wolves, hurting Elijah, and almost forcing Rebekah to commit suicide. According to the IBTimes, all these actions will backfire on him in season 3.

Actors Phoebe Tonkin and Daniel Gillies, who play Hayley and Elijah, respectively, said that Klaus won't get the forgiveness he seeks so easily.

"Hayley's not going to be able to forgive him easily for what he's done," the actress explained. "Even if he did it for the good of his baby, I don't think he did it in the right way. He should have let Hayley know that's what he was doing so she could have been part of the plan. But he didn't do that, so now, she's pissed."

Gillies explained that Elijah's alliance with Klaus is on its very last thread and that the conflict between the two characters will be the precursor to a long chain of events that will be felt throughout season 3 and possibly beyond.

The report from IBTimes indicates that there is a silver lining despite all the trouble Klaus will go through. Cami and Klaus are reportedly developing a relationship, although executive producer Michael Narducci believes it is too premature to get them together.

Narducci explained that there is a very "interesting connection" between the two and he wants Cami to help Klaus explore other sides of himself before they jump the gun and become a couple. The producer also explained that Klaus will experience some struggles as he shifts from villain to lover.

Narducci said that Klaus protects his loved ones best when he is his savage self and that this will make it difficult for him to change because there are a lot of enemies out there angry at the Mikaelsons.

"The Originals" season 3 premieres this fall.
