More news about the cast of "Orange is the New Black" has surfaced. So far, it has been confirmed that Taryn Manning, who plays Tiffnay "Pennsatucky" Doggett, will return for season 2.

Danielle Brooks, who plays Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson, has also been promoted as a series regular for the upcoming season.

Now Deadline reports that 'Crazy Eyes' Suzanne Warren, who is played by Uzo Aduba, will have her role boosted in the second series. Aduba's 'Crazy Eyes' character, which begins to develop towards the end of the first series, has been popular among fans. This will be the first series regular role for the Broadway actress.

A new inmate will also join OITNB season 2. Lorraine Toussaint, has signed on to play a new character named Vee, who is "a longtime street tough who ran her own drug business, recruiting children to serve as runners."

Netflix's "Orange is the New Black" is now officially more popular than the multiple Emmy-nominated "House of Cards".

"Orange is the New Black" is a comedy-drama based on the story of Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), an upper-class woman sent to prison and how she adapts to prison life. The show confronts issues that female inmates face, such as race, class and mental-health issues.

The show began filming for season 2 on July 29. The show is expected to premiere in 2014.

"Orange is the New Black" stars Laura Prepon as Alex Vause (Chapmman's former girlfriend), Michael J. Harney as Sam Healy (prison manager), Michelle Hurst as Miss Claudette (Chapman's former roommate), Kate Mulgrew as Galina 'Red' Reznikov (prison-mate), and Jason Biggs as Larry Bloom (Chapman's fiancé).
