Many viewers are probably waiting for the fourth season of "Once Upon A Time" series after "Frozen's" Queen Elsa was shown in the season 3 finale. However, the frost queen will play the villain next season, according to reports.

Lana Parilla, or popularly known to fans as Regina, hinted that Elsa could be the villain on the fourth season of the fantasy TV series. After commending the show's producers in bringing Frozen's beloved characters into the series, she said, "I love the formula of the 13 episode arc for these new villains that come on our show."

Enstarz reported that Elsa will not be the traditional villain. However, the foreboding music that fans heard in the final episode of season 3 gave a clue that Elsa will have a big impact on the show.

Parilla added that she cannot get the animated version off her head and she cannot give a name of possible actresses who could play the role of Elsa in the TV series. Creators confirmed that no one was cast yet for the role.

Apart from Elsa, the show's creators are also looking to bring other characters from the billion-dollar film production. "We would be very disappointed if Elsa was the only one from that world that you saw. Who else may appear, we're not ready to tell you just yet," show's creator Adam Horowitz told TV Guide. This could mean that Anna and Olaf could appear in the series at some point.

Horowitz also explained that the show will "honor the character that everybody has fallen in love with so quickly" and will not portray her as an evil character although she would play the villain in the series.

"Once Upon a Time" season 4 premieres in fall 2014 on ABC at its regular timeslot on Sundays at 8 p.m. However, a premiere date has not been set yet.
