The fourth season of "Once Upon A Time" will also feature the "Maleficent" storyline apart from "Frozen".

According to Entertainment Weekly, actress Kristin Bauer van Straten will reprise her role as Maleficent for some of the episodes in the fourth season of the hit twisted fairy tale series. According to speculations, Maleficent is supposedly dead but will come back. This could also mean that Aurora (Sarah Bolger) will also be back in the series.

Carter Matt applauded the show for its smart marketing moves by using the recent top movies like "Frozen" and "Maleficent". The former was the top movie of 2013 while the latter topped the charts this summer.

The use of recent movies and introduction of the beloved characters will attract new viewers. The show gets a fair share of ratings and good reviews. However, it needs something to keep the fans interested at this point.

Kristin Bauer van Straten will not be the only one to join the highly-acclaimed series; reports claimed that Elizabeth Mitchell will play the role of a villain as there is no antagonist in the series.

Meanwhile, the fourth season of "Once Upon A Time" will feature the story of the movie "Frozen". Although show runners claimed that they will pattern the small screen adaptation from the movie, "Once Upon A Time" spoilers claimed that Queen Elsa will revert to her original role as an antagonist in the fairy tale "Snow Queen". The TV series is known for narrating a twisted version of the most-loved childhood fairy tales and turning the main characters into villains.

The fourth season of "Once Upon A Time" will premiere on September 28 introducing the beloved characters in "Frozen". The show creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz confirmed that Elsa, Anna and Kristoff will join the upcoming season of the show.
