NVIDIA has just unveiled the brand new GTX 1050 Ti and the GTX 1050 video cards which utilize the Pascal architecture but now, at a more affordable price. Both cards will cost less than $150, but they will still be powerful enough to run most high-end video games, and the GTX 1050 Ti, in particular, is designed to be VR-capable.

As noted by the company's official announcement, these video cards have been tested with high-end games such as "Grand Theft Auto V," "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," "Crysis 3," and "Rise of the Tomb Raider." All of the aforementioned games were running a consistent 60 frames per second at 1080p resolutions.

The Verge reports that the GTX 1050 Ti utilizes 4 GB DDR5 and that it has 768 CUDA cores. The card will cost $139. As for the GTX 1050, it will cost only $109, but it only offers 2 GB DDR5 with 640 CUDA cores. Both will be able to run the aforementioned games at high settings, but the report points out that the GTX 1050 will not immediately be VR-ready.

Despite this, the report states that the GTX 1050 will likely meet the requirements to run the Oculus Rift.

In comparison to these, the previously released GTX 1060 offers 6 GB and 3 GB DDR5 graphics memory, and it is significantly faster. However, the card is also slightly more expensive.

The GTX 1050 Ti will roll out on Oct. 25, and the regular GTX 1050 is set to launch in November. The latter does not have a definite release date yet, but it won't be launching any later than Nov. 8. A more specific release date may be announced after the GTX 1050 Ti has been released.

Because the new NVIDIA cards will offer high-end graphical fidelity at a much lower price, the Verge reveals their competitor, AMD, is going to slash the prices of their current lineup of video cards. In particular, the AMD RX 470 is going to be marked down to just $169 in order to compete with the GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
