Black Friday deals on Nokia devices provide holiday shoppers with a great opportunity to get awesome smartphones and tablets for less. 

One of the best Nokia Black Friday deals is on the Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone which will be sold for $40 by U.S. electronics retailer Best Buy. The smartphone is locked to AT&T but will be unlocked after six months. It is also a part of AT&T "pay as you go" phones. 

The Nokia Lumia 635 packs a 4.5-inch screen display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, microSD slot of up to 128 GB for additional storage, an additional 15 GB on free OneDrive storage, and a 5 MP rear camera. 

With its aforementioned specs, the Nokia Lumia 635 is a mid-range smartphone and is great for first time smartphone users.  

Meanwhile, Microsoft is also planning a price cut on the Nokia Lumia 635 on Nov. 24, and the company will also offer more deals on Nov. 27 and will most likely put recent devices on sale. 

RadioShack, on the other hand, offers the 7-inch Nokia tablet with a matching case for $50. RadioShack's Black Friday deals will commence on Nov. 26 at 10 p.m. "Doorbuster" deals will be available on Thanksgiving morning at 8 a.m. 

So far, Nokia deals are limited and more devices are expected to be offered as Thanksgiving nears, which marks the start of the holiday shopping season. Retailers and Microsoft are set to announce more deals soon. 

Meanwhile, those who are interested in getting the newest tablet from the Finnish manufacturer may want to wait for the release of the Nokia N1 tablet that was announced recently. The Nokia N1 will be available in February 2015 for $250. 

The specs and features of the Nokia N1 are: 7.9-inch screen display with Quad HD resolution, quad-core Intel chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, 8 MP primary camera at the back and 5 MP front-facing camera, and 5300 mAh battery capacity.
