New VeggieTales app

The people behind VeggieTales have announced the release of a brand new game app - The League of Incredible Vegetables App.

The app is based on Big Idea Entertainment’s superhero themed DVD title, VeggieTales: The League of Incredible Vegetables.

The app is being available for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Android devices.

Fans of the animation series can choose from their favourite characters, like Larry the Cucumber as LarryBoy and Bob the Tomato as Thingamabob, as they navigate 28 different levels to save Bumblyburg.

The app features simple touch-based controls and provides entertainment for children and VeggieTales fans ages four and up.

Matt Johnson, Vice President of Thruster, which created the app, said: "We are very excited to be working alongside Big Idea and the VeggieTales brand which has such great meaning and purpose.

"Our teams have worked side by side to create an immersive experience within this world loved by millions.

"We are very happy with the results and feel it will extend the excitement of this fun VeggieTales release even further by providing kids with the engagement of controlling their favorite characters in this interactive world.”
