New gospel talent Tito recalls sound of Al Green

|PIC1|Like the Motown and Atlantic Soul legend of old, 18-year-old Tito's talent is well beyond his years. With a passion to perform, he also has credits like a cameo appearance on the BBC day time soap - Doctors to his repertoire.

"It's like Al Green went to sleep age 19 and woke up in 2009 with a classic old school soul voice injected with megawatts of energy - that's Tito," said Chi Ezenwa, co- founder of J-Factor.

Tito's debut single, Superman, touted "the new sound of gospel", is a smooth R&B sounding floor-filler produced by Rockhill Music, the record company behind GKReal and Acoustic Gospel. 'Superman is a fantastic song that crosses genres. Tito's voice is amazing and he delivers in a way that everyone can connect with,' Chi added.

"I have a lot to be grateful for. I still can't believe I won because I was up against some amazing talent. Being a part of J-Factor has given me the opportunity I need to express myself through music in a fulfilling way," said Tito, winner of the critically acclaimed J-Factor 2008 talent competition.

Tito will be performing his single for the first time to a live audience on July 18, 2009 at his launch party themed 'Out of my Shadows', which will be held at the central London bar, Digress-City in Moorgate.

"There are tonnes of talented people eager for opportunities to start a music career. We hope to provide a credible platform for aspiring gospel artists attempting a move into the music industry," said Fola Oyeyinka co-founder of J-Factor.

Producers Rockhill Music, who have produced for Muyiwa, GKReal, Hillsong Church and MOBO and Urban Music Award nominees 4Kornerz etc say, "We are very excited about this chap Tito. This is an amazing talent to watch out for - and what a song! J-Factor has found a gem here!"
