ZeniMax Online Studios has announced that there will be new items available for purchase on the "Elder Scrolls Online" Crown Store starting this May 7, states SkyrimFanSite. ZOS previously announced that there will be new items every month and April saw the release of four vanity pets and the limited Senche Leopard mount.
For the month of May, ZeniMax will be offering an Ordinator costume pack, a Golden Eye Guar mount, a new Palomino hourse mount, and a Fennec Fox pet.
The Ordinator costume pack comes equipped with the classic Ordinator armor, Hands of Almalexia armor, and an elite Night-Raid armor set. The costume pack will be available for 700 crowns or $7.
Perhaps the most sought-after addition is the Fennec Fox. Foxes in "Elder Scrolls Online" can be used to find maps, lead to unmarked map locations such as a bandit camp, or take a gamer to treasure troves filled with valuable swords, alchemy items, and other important loot. The Fennec Fox will be available for 400 crowns or $4.
Golden Eye Guars are an obvious reference to the "James Bond" movie and video game but they are also some of the best new mounts introduced in the game thus far. These mounts will be available for 1,300 crowns or $13. Palomino horse mounts will be available for 900 crowns or $9.
It is important to note that the dollar prices are only an approximate value. In order to save money, players are advised to purchase Crown Packs through the "Elder Scrolls Online" store, where crowns can be purchased for a wholesale price.
SkyrimFanSite also indicates that it is very likely that bears will become a player mount soon. However, ZeniMax Online Studios have given no official word confirming or denying the statement. Bears are already featured in the game as wild animals that players can hunt and fight so tweaking them into mounts may not be a far-fetched theory.
