New 'Driveclub' DLC revealed for PS4

Game developer Evolution Studios has announced that it will release the new expansion for its game "Driveclub" this March.

The "Lamborghini" expansion pack features four new high-end cars, namely the Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario, Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse, Huracan LP 610-4, and the Veneno. This pack is free for Season Pass holders.

However, fans are still wondering when a DLC with game tweaks, and not just collectible items, will be released. They were waiting for the tweaks because "Driveclub's" servers have been experiencing problems since the game's launch. However, Sony only promised free game packs: the "Ignition" expansion pack and "Photo Finish" tour pack. Also to make amends, Sony promised a free Playstation Plus version of the game, which as of this time has not yet been fulfilled.

Sony explained that the delays on creating the free "Driveclub" game is because they themselves want it to be almost perfect. In a statement released to GameSpot, Sony said that they are trying to remedy the server issues that players still experience, by creating a network that would handle the stress of an online game.

"Although currently we do not have an update regarding the timing for the launch of the PS Plus Edition, we are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible," the statement read.

The new DLC pack is part of the full calendar expansion for the game, starting in October 2014 up to June this year, offering new cars, tours, tracks, and challenges.

"Driveclub," exclusive on PS4, is a racing game developed by Evolution Studios and published by Sony. Different from other straight racing games, "Driveclub" offers players the chance not just to compete with each other but to form racing teams and earn accolades worldwide.
