NBA rumors 2014: Corey Brewer to go to Cavaliers or Rockets, Quincy Miller to Lakers?

This coming NBA trade season, the focus is on the teams that have been struggling, namely The Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, and Minnesota Timberwolves. Reports have been circulating as to who will go to what team. So, what's the latest NBA trade rumors?

Kenneth Faried really shined in Team USA and he even got the name "The Manimal" for his looks and playstyle. Unfortunately, Kevin Arnovitz of ESPN.com pointed out that not everyone is a fan of Faried.

"Several sources around the league insist the Nuggets' hand was forced with regard to Faried. After the signing of [JJ] Hickson to a three-year, approximately $16 million contract soon after Connelly's arrival, the sense was the bouncy big man was insurance against Faried's departure in free agency in 2014. Faried was a fan favorite in Denver, but multiple sources with knowledge of the Nuggets' thinking maintain the team 'isn't crazy about him,' particularly Shaw," Arnovitz said.

Arnovitz also mentioned that Faried "isn't well-liked" in Denver. So this begs the question, will Denver keep him around or not?

As for Corey Brewer, the Minnesota Timberwolves may just be trading him to other teams. Marc Stein of ESPN broke the news via Twitter, saying, "Story posting now: ESPN sources say Wolves in active trade discussions on veteran swingman Corey Brewer with contenders Cavs and Rockets."

But Andy Greder, president of the Timberwolves, shared a different opinion. He tweeted, "We are not going to make a snap decision to help us win four more games."

What about the Lakers? According to Bleacher Report, the Lakers are dealing with "a massive amount of injuries" and they really need someone to "bolster its roster."

Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report tweeted, "Included in column today: Quincy Miller @qmillertime set to work out for Lakers this week and possibly replace Xavier Henry on roster."

Do be reminded that these are just rumors right now. Fans soon find out when the trade does happen...or not.
