The upcoming "NBA 2K15" has become one of the most highly anticipated games, especially with 2K Sports setting it for an official release date on Oct. 7.

Basketball fans and avid gamers can come across power rankings and face scanning technology.  2K TV will also be introduced, with Rachel A. DeMita as its presenter; and the NBA-centered show will be highlighting important details of the games as well as interviews with players and coaches, among others.

2K Sports also released a sample video about 2K TV featuring the upcoming game's cover athlete, Kevin Durant. With the release of the "NBA 2K15" already set for Oct. 7, the premiere episode of the 2K TV will also be made available.

According to Bleacherreport, the game has been presented by 2K Sports in a way that will visually appeal to basketball fans and gamers alike. The manner by which the "NBA 2K15" is presented, particularly its on-court action, has been enhanced to make the most of the advanced technology of next-gen systems such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

MyLEAGUE mode has also been incorporated into the game, which gamers who played the 2K15's predecessors may consider as an extended version of the Association Mode. It may even be that such mode would surpass fans' expectations as customizable options are being made available for almost every component in the game.

In addition, the NBA 2K15 comes with a new injury system called the "Injuries 2.0," which provides players with a distinct durability rating for numerous body parts. As such, Rob Jones and Erick Boenisch of 2K Sports have already emphasized that player injuries will become "a lot more relevant, and a lot less random."

The upcoming NBA 2K15 will be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
