New images of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" emerged in the latest issue of Japanese magazine Shonen Jump, with the featured image showcasing the monstrous Kaguya tailed-beast transformation. According to a report from Geek Snack, Kaguya's transformation will be encountered in the game's story mode.
In the main story campaign, Kaguya will be faced primarily by Perfect Susanoo Kakashi, although there are no confirmations if this will be the only instance in the campaign that the beast transformation will be fought. The beast transformation will also be available as Kaguya's ultimate jutsu similar to how Naruto has his ultimate nine-tail jutsu.
It is hinted that other characters will have similar ultimate jutsu techniques now that more than one has shown the option to transform. However, it is unconfirmed at this point and the ultimate jutsu techniques may be applicable only for the story mode instead of the local or online versus modes.
Another tidbit reported is that the game might feature special DLC costumes. According to a report from Saiyan Island, the costumes will be available for the game in China as the DLC unlocks unique Chinese costumes for Naruto. It is unsure at this point if the traditional Chinese costume DLC will be available in places other than China.
Saiyan Island also reports that this isn't the first time the game will feature region-locked DLC as developer CyberConnect 2 did unveil a special DLC costume specifically for those in Latin American countries.
Some fans speculate that the DLC will be given for free in China given that the country has recently lifted a ban on video game consoles. The DLC may then be offered for places outside China but will follow standard DLC prices. The same may also be said of the Latin American costume DLC.
"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is scheduled to release in Japan by Feb. 4, Europe by Feb. 5 and North America in Feb. 9.
