'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' guide, tips and tricks roundup

 Bandai Namco

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has now released for modern consoles and PC. Like previous entries in the franchise, there are multiple secrets and additional characters. However, Attack of the Fanboy has posted how all of the secret characters can be unlocked.

As stated in the report, characters are unlocked by playing the story campaign. The only downfall of this is that some of the characters aren't unlocked until the player is far into the campaign, so it will take time and effort for some of the other characters to be available.

Berserk Obito is unlocked by finishing the "In Hell" episode of the "Two Unparalleled Warriors" chapter. In the same chapter, players can also unlock Rin by completing the "The Boys' Battlefield" chapter. These are the two earliest characters that can be unlocked in the story mode.

Completing the "United Front" chapter will unlock Hanabi (The Last) and the Ten Tails Jinchuriki form of Obito. "The Final Showdown" chapter has six characters to unlock: Great Ninja War Guy, Six Paths version of Madara, Sage of the Six Paths version of Naruto, Rinne Sharingan form of Sasuke, Double Sharingan form of Kakashi and, lastly, Kaguya.

Several other characters can only be unlocked by finishing the story mode down to its last chapter. These characters are all versions from "The Last: Naruto the Movie." These characters are Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Hinata, all of which are older by the events of the film.

No cheats have yet been posted online, which is why there are no hidden codes to input in any menu to instantly unlock the characters. Players will have to go through the story campaign if they want to unlock their favorite characters or variations of the characters already available, such as the aforementioned "The Last" version of Naruto.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is considered the last entry in the franchise.
