Rafael Nadal vs Stan Wawrinka takes place in the French Open 2013 Men's singles quarter finals on Wednesday. Reigning champion Nadal will be looking to swiftly move past Wawrinka in this round and will be hoping to win yet another French Open title this year. The game can be watched online through free live stream via the link provided below.

This should be a thrilling match, as everyone knows Nadal's quality, but in Wawrinka he is coming up against a tenacious opponent who is unlikely to give up without a fight.

Nadal will of course be the huge favorite having won so many clay titles so far, and also looking at the head to head record between the pair, Nadal will clearly be penciled in as the winner by most pundits.

The pair have faced off against one another nine times, and the Spaniard has amazingly never dropped a set to Wawrinka. Roland Garros is almost like a second home to Nadal as well, making this a match that would almost take a miracle for Wawrinka to upset things.

However, some reports have highlighted that this year Wawrinka is massively improved from some of his showings in previous years, and he could provide a much sterner test for the Spaniard this year. Some have insisted that Wawrinka is playing some of the best tennis of his career and he has moved up to another level.

Wawrinka defeated Andy Murray, and pushed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, and he also defeated David Ferrer to win the Portugal Open. Also at the Mutua Mardid Open he made the final, before eventually falling to Nadal.

For neutral tennis fans around the world they will be hoping that the rumors of a revived Wawrinka are true and that things will turn out to be a close and classic match up.

Rafael Nadal vs Stan Wawrinka will take place on Wednesday from about 10.30 a.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
