After unveiling a sneak peek of the "Monster Hunter X" gameplay, Capcom finally announced that the game will come out in Japan in late November.

The game developer and publisher recently held a livestream event for the upcoming installment in the fantasy-themed open world role-playing game where its gameplay was discussed.

Based on the livestream footages compiled by YouTube user Arekkz Gaming, the soon-to-be released "Monster Hunter X" will allow players to utilize four fighting styles using all the 14 weapons that are featured in the game.

One of the said fighting styles is called the "Guild style," which lets players use the weapons just like in the past "Monster Hunter" installments. Then there is the "Aerial style" that lets players strike using any weapons while jumping; and there is a specific style that can be used when the players are attacking around counters. Also, a "mystery style" can also be used with the help of super moves.

Capcom also used the livestream event to explain the origins of the game title. According to the game studio, the "X" in "Monster Hunter X" (read as Monster Hunter Cross) symbolizes several elements. It includes the game's four fighting styles; as well as the four villages, namely Yukumo, Kokoto, and Pokke from the previous games, and the brand new Beruna Village. The cross also symbolizes the merging of old and new elements to come up with a fresher idea for the franchise.

"Monster Hunter X" will follow the release of "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate," which was released in October 2014 in Japan and February 2015 in other parts of the world. The upcoming game was first announced during the Nintendo Direct Presentation last May 31.

Capcom confirmed that "Monster Hunter X" will be released in Japanese retail stores beginning November 28, while the release date for the rest of the world is still unannounced.
