Monday Night Football: Seahawks vs Redskins online [preview]

Monday Night Football in Week 5 of the NFL 2014 regular season will see the Seattle Seahawks go on the road to take on the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland.

The game is scheduled to start at 8.30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the ESPN network. The game can also be watched online through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

The Seahawks come into the game following their bye week in Week 4. They are 2-1 and will hope to claim their third win of the season against a struggling Redskins team.

The Washington Redskins meanwhile have already lost three games in just the opening month of the season, and their season could quickly get beyond them of they do not stop the slide soon. A fourth loss of the season today would mean it is a long way back to even get to .500, and they would be on the verge of becoming largely irrelevant to the season's postseason picture.

The Seahawks were last in action against their Super Bowl 48 opponents, the Denver Broncos, and they were again able to get one over their fierce rivals. Although this time the game was much tighter than last year's Super Bowl.

The Seahawks were pushed all the way to overtime before they could claim the win, but that victory was a significant one; the way most look at it, if you can beat Peyton Manning and his Broncos then you have a good chance against anyone in this league.

The Redskins are 1-3 and are in last place in their division. They are also coming into this game after an embarrassing 31-point loss on Thursday.

Kirk Cousins struggled badly in that game, turning the ball over five times and converting just one third down.

Monday Night Football will start at 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on ESPN or online through live stream by clicking here.
