Although Microsoft is a no-show at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, there is no stopping the speculations pertaining to the company's products.

There are reports saying that Microsoft will make an appearance during the next big tech event, the Mobile World Congress in March, to announce the successor to the Nokia Lumia 1320, dubbed as Lumia 1330, although it is still believed that Microsoft's phablet will arrive in the second half of 2015. The speculations came about because of Nokia's alleged plans to launch flagship devices later this year. However, Microsoft's lips are tight shut and has not spilled details regarding the device.

Meanwhile, leaks about the Lumia 1330 have emerged left and right in the past weeks. The device was reportedly spotted at the GFX Benchmark revealing some of its specs and features, which include a 5.7-inch screen display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 based quad-core SoC, Windows Phone 8.1 operating system; 1 GB of RAM; 14-megapixel back camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, along with longer battery life.

Early this month, a device presumed to be the Lumia 1330 was spotted in an FCC listing bearing the model number RM-1062, with a single-SIM LTE version believed to be the Lumia 1335 variant of the smartphone.

The device's alleged photo has also been seen online and based on the image, the phablet will come in festive colors that are seldom found in other smartphones. Despite its massive screen display, the Microsoft Lumia 1330 is a budget smartphone and will be more affordable than the iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The device will most likely be released to target the mid-range segment of the market.

Microsoft Lumia 1330 will be the first phablet to be released by Microsoft since it acquired the Finnish manufacturer Nokia. Since the acquisition, the company has come up with devices with admirable specs and even more admirable price tags.
